Global Conservation with the University of Miami and
the Cincinnati Zoo & Botonical Gardens
Study Conservation Efforts Abroad •
The Cincinnati Zoo and Botonical Gardens, in partnership with the Dragonfly
project at Miami University, sponsors too programs for K-12 educators:
(1) Earth Expeditions sends 60 teachers overseas to work with zoos in
conservation efforts in Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean; and
(2) graduate courses hosted by the Cincinnati Zoo in primate behavior,
conservation, adaptation, and evolution for 60 additional teachers. Read
