Cataclysms and Catastrophes — this NSF grant program was developed
by the Institute for Geophysics at the University of Texas at Austin in partnership with
4empowerment to create inquiry-based geophysics learning activities for K-12 science education.

Cyberways and Waterways — a virtual
science community based on an innovative online and field study
learning program.

|
Empowering Science Education through Technology
(E-SET) — funded by No Child Left Behind, this comprehensive program integrates
technology into science education
for grades 6-12 and implemented by a consortium of 16 school districts.

|
Making the Connections (MC) — this
comprehensive program funded by No Child Left Behind implemented by a consortium
of 13 school districts and focusing on technology integration into English and Language Arts for grades 6-12.

Texas Accelerated Science Achievement Program (Texas ASAP) — In partnership with the Charles A. Dana Center at the University of Texas at Austin, Cyberways & Waterways® complements the goals of the Texas Accelerated Science Achievement Program (Texas ASAP), which aims to provide after school and summer school programs designed to increase student achievement as measured by the science portion of the TAKS tests. In addition, CW provides a unifying theme of activities that can be carried over from in-school lessons to after school programs to summer school classes.
